The Winter season requires a different kind of training to keep the body fit and the mind sharp.  Aerobic Base Building is the ticket!   Get ready for Spring with:
Long Slow Distance
We call it LSD for short.  LSD is a series of special weekly classes beginning with a standard 40 minute ride. Classes build in length over a 12 week period, adding 11 minutes of ride time each week, culminating in a 
2.5-hour final ride!

Benefits of Building Aerobic Base
Fat Metabolism:  The body prefers fat for fuel when exercising at aerobic heart rates.  Working in this zone trains the body to select fat as its preferred source of energy.
Better Performance:  Aerobic exercise improves VO2 MAX (oxygen used during exercise), the chief predictor of endurance performance.  Builds capillary density and improves circulation.
Stronger Immune System, Fewer Injuries, More Energy:  Remove the stress from your training and you will experience enhanced immune system function, more energy, and feel stronger than ever!
